Longford footballers have appointed Denis Connerton as manager.
The Longford Slashers club manager and Rathcline clubman takes over from Jack Sheedy, who stepped down earlier this month after two seasons in charge.
It is Connerton's second spell in charge of the county after managing the midlanders between 2004 and 2007.
Ciaran Fox (Sean Connolly’s) will be Connerton's assistant manager, Enda Macken (Dromard), Derek Ryan (Longford Slashers) are to serve as selectors, and Barry Horgan will be strength and conditioning coach.
