Kieran Donaghy returns to the Kerry senior football team to face Tyrone in the All-Ireland semi-final in Croke Park, in one of three changes for the Kingdom.

Donaghy, who missed Kerry’s quarter-final victory over Kildare with an injury he suffered in the warm-up of that game, returns at the expense of Paul Geaney who drops to the bench.

Elsewhere, Peter Crowley comes into the defence in place of Aidan O’Mahony and Johnny Buckley returns to the half-forward line in place of Bryan Sheehan.

James O’Donoghue has been declared fit enough to take his place in the team. The Killarney Legion clubman had been a doubt with a shoulder injury but gets the nod in the full-forward line, alongside Donaghy and eight-time All-Star Colm Cooper, who started in place of Donaghy in the rampant quarter-final win over Kildare.

Pa Kilkenny and Alan Fitzgerald are included in the substitute’s panel in place of the injured Michael Geaney and Jack Sherwood.

The Tyrone team shows just one change from the side which defeated Monaghan in their quarter-final as Justin McMahon comes in to replace his brother Joe at centre half-back.

As expected, Tiernan McCann starts at half-forward following the success of an appeal against his proposed suspension after he was charged "misconduct that is considered to have discredited the association".

After undergoing a minor procedure to correct a hernia problem last week, Joe McMahon will take his place on the bench. Niall McKenna's injury woes continue and he is again unable to take a place among the substitutes.
