VIDEO: Cork and Galway set for battle

The second of the All-Ireland SHC quarter-finals at Semple Stadium sees Galway bidding for a fourth consecutive championship win over Cork. The Tribesmen's last victory came in 2012. Anthony Cunningham was the man in charge of the westerners back then and three years on will again be facing a Rebels side managed by Jimmy Barry-Murphy.

Both coaches are confident ahead of the Thurles encounter, with Cunningham happy with their preparation after the loss to Kilkenny

"It's really just sharpening up the bodies now," said Cunningham

"You have to be at the top of your game to beat the Cork, Kilkennys or Tipp. In saying that I think we've progressed in the three weeks since the Leinster final.

Barry-Murphy is looking to keep the momentum after qualifier victories over Wexford and Clare.

"When you lose like we did in the Munster championship there is always a down factor for the players and the management because you've got to re-group.

"However, if you can build on the momentum of the wins, then the confidence you get from that should help you in the next game and that's what we're hoping for the next day.
