VIDEO: Who will win Division 1?

Dessie Dolan and Martin McHugh offer their thoughts on the Division 1 decider between Dublin and Cork on 26 April.

Both pundits expect a competitive game involving teams, who between them have shared the last five top-tier titles.

"Dublin will be favourites to win it," according to McHugh.

"The Dubs have had it easy in Leinster in recent seasons and this final will be a good test for Jim Gavin's men at the stage of the season," says the Donegal All-Ireland winner.

"Dublin won't really be tested in Leinster again and they need that test ahead of the bigger tests that will come from the All-Ireland quarter-final on.

"You would have to think that Dublin will get a settled team on the pitch for the game and that strength, you would think, should see them have too much for Cork," he concluded.

Dolan also believes that Cork will be involved in the championship come the August Bank Holiday, but feels that "it's a great opportunity for Cork to take on Dublin at Croke Park and get something out of the game."

The former Westmeath All Star has been impressed by the Rebels this spring and has paid tribute to their manager Brian Cuthbert.

"Cuthbert has got consistency from his team and he will be determined to stop Dublin from getting a three-in-a-row."

Both pundits also spoke about the increasing number of inter-county sides embarking on warm-weather training at this time of the year.
