A Dublin GAA club has issued an appeal for the public’s help in recovering an All-Ireland winner’s medal, which was stolen from former Dublin player Dermot Deasy.
Ballymun Kickhams posted the appeal on its Facebook page for information about Deasy's medal, which the club says was taken from his home on Friday night.
Deasy was part of the Dublin panel that won the 1995 SFC championship, though he did not feature in the final against Tyrone due to injury. He won an All Star in 1993.
“Anyone with information, please call the Garda confidential line 1800-666-111 or Ballymun Garda on 01-6664400 or by private messaging us here,” the club said.
