Eamon O’Shea is staying on as Tipperary hurling manager for 2015, ending speculation he would step down after two years in charge of the Premier County.
O’Shea met with Tipperary officials last night to confirm he would be staying on for another year at least.
County officials and O’Shea had met on a couple of occasions over the past month as O’Shea, who has been manager since September 2012, mulled over his future following the All-Ireland final replay defeat to Kilkenny.
It is believed there will be changes in the make-up of O’Shea’s backroom team and these will likely be announced next week.
