Twenty-year-old Cork sensation Catriona Casey has completed a three-in-a-row of All-Ireland 60x30 senior singles successes after she saw off Limerick left-hander Martina McMahon in straight games in the final at Abbeylara.

Ballydesmond star Casey, ranked as the No 1 female player in the world at present, turned in a flawless display to cruise past teenager McMahon, herself rated as one of the top young players in the game.

UCC student Casey's outstanding defensive game and ability to consistently end rallies with kills was too much for the Treaty woman and completed a clean sweep of big alley singles and doubles titles.

Meanwhile, next weekend's M Donnelly All-Ireland 60x30 senior doubles final will be a repeat of the 2013 decider after Mayo and Meath came through their respective semi-finals.

The Royals' Tom Sheridan and Brian Carroll - who are the reigning champions - were too strong for Kilkenny's Michael 'Ducksy' Walsh and Ciaran Neary, coming through 21-10, 21-7.

In the other semi-final, experienced Mayo pair Dessie Keegan and Joe McCann came through a tense third game against recently-crowned singles champion Eoin Kennedy and youngster Keith Bourke of Dublin, with the hard-hitting Connacht men winning 15-21, 21-16, 21-8.
