Donegal forward Mark McHugh admits his side face a huge task when they take on Cork in Sunday’s All-Ireland semi-final in Croke Park.
McHugh told RTÉ Sport: “Cork’s going to be a massive challenge but we’re hopeful that we can perform on the day and pull off a victory.”
Donegal, back-to-back Ulster champions, outsmarted and outplayed Kerry in the quarter-finals, but the Kilcar clubman says that they are not spending any time dwelling on past achievements.
“You’re only as good as your next game and that’s what we’re looking forward to at the minute.
"[I’m] privileged to put on a Donegal jersey every time I go out. Thankfully, Jim [McGuinness, manager] and Rory [Gallagher, assistant manager] have a spot for me on the team, it’s working out well enough," he added.
