Wexford’s Aindreas Doyle and Andrew Shore are out of Sunday’s Leinster SFC quarter-final tie against Longford.
Doyle is ruled out of the tie with a hamstring injury, which he picked up playing for Parnell’s in the Dublin SFC.
Shore is out with knee and ankle injuries which he picked up in training. He faces a lengthy six weeks on the sidelines.
Shore’s absence will most likely see Rory Quinlivan come into midfield alongside Daithi Waters. Robert Tierney should start at corner-back in place of Doyle.
Paddy Byrne injured his knee against Fermanagh and is a concern.
Manager Jason Ryan said: "We’ve had very good preparation while we’ll be hoping to improve in areas which were exposed in the league final.
“We learned a lot from the defeat, certain things did not come up to scratch, but we’ve worked on them.
"While the injuries are a blow we’ve strength in depth. For championship football one has got to be always ready for such setbacks. We’re confident and we’re ready to meet the challenge."
