Brendan Cummins secured the 2011 Poc Fada Craobh na hEireann title on Annaverna mountains in Cooley, County Louth.

Tipperary’s All Star goalkeeper went around the 5km mountain course in 50 pucks.

A delighted Cummins won by a four-puck margin over 2010 Poc Fada champion Graham Clarke of Down.

Cummins said afterwards that the all Ireland title, in this the 50th year of the contest, ranked special to him.

Cummins along with Down’s Karol Keating claimed the Comortas Beirte (Pairs) title with a combined score of 108 pucks.
