Jim McGuinness has been named as the new Donegal football manager as expected.
He has been appointed for four years with a review after two and will also stay on as county Under-21 manager.
McGuinness, who was the sole nominee for the vacant position, succeeds John Joe Doherty.
Doherty resigned from the post after Donegal's heavy defeat to Armagh in the qualifiers.
Glenties man McGuinness won an All-Ireland winners medal with the county in 1992.
