Another marathon talks session involving the Cork hurlers and footballers and the Cork GAA County Board ended without agreement or breakthrough last night, writes RTÉ News' Southern Correspondent Paschal Sheehy.
Talks chairman Kieran Mulvey and GAA Director-General Paraic Duffy shuttled between the parties from teatime yesterday evening until 3.30am today exploring a number of proposals.
In the early hours of the morning they tabled a document which has been described as comprehensive and going considerably further than the paper which Mr Mulvey recommended at the last talks session 10 days ago.
On the positive side, both sides made significant compromises and both also stood to gain considerably if what was proposed had been accepted.
But while there was broad acceptance of many of the issues involved, overall agreement proved beyond the parties yet again.
Attention will now focus on the meeting of the players from both panels tonight.
