The on-going row between the GAA and the GPA over the implementation of government grants to players continues with neither party any closer to a solution.
The final regional meeting of GPA members took place in Roscommon and neither party have yet agreed on how the funds should be distributed.
GAA President Nickey Brennan believes it's down to the government to find the best possible way to distribute the money to inter-county players, and is hopeful that strike action can be avoided.
