International Rules manager, Séan Boylan, will announce his 22-man panel for Saturday’s clash with Australia at a press conference in Galway later today.
Three players will be omitted from the original 25-man panel for the opening test match at Pearse Stadium.
Boylan’s side have prepared well for the challenge after spending time in a training camp in Toulouse.
The visitors, who have been in Ireland since early on this week, have doubts over the fitness Aaron Davy (back) and co-captain Barry Hall (hamstring).
Both men sat out yesterday’s practice match as a precaution.
There is also a significant Australian media presence as interest in the hybrid sport continues to grow.
