Boylan names International Rules squad

Seán Boylan has named a 25-man squad for the first Test of the International Rules this Saturday in Pearse Stadium, Galway.

The side will be captained by Kieran McGeeney of Armagh; Tadhg Kennelly of the Sydney Swans has been named as vice captain.

Boylan intially announced a group of 39 players who took part in a training camp in France. He then cut that down to 33 players and, today, announced the final squad of 25 to face Australia in Friday's first Test.

Boylan has also named Stephen O'Neill of Tyrone, Dessie Dolan of Westmeath and Darragh Ó Sé of Kerry as standby players.
