A delegation of players and County Board officials from Tyrone are to parade the Sam Maguire Cup at the home ground of Celtic Football Club later this month.

The All-Ireland champions will pay Celtic Park in Glasgow a visit and take to the pitch before Celtic's Scottish Premier League game with Dundee United on January 28.

Current Celtic captain Neil Lennon previously played Gaelic football for the Armagh minor team.

The Red Hands' Glasgow trip follows a special celebration banquet, which takes place on January 13 at the Armagh City Hotel and is being held to celebrate Tyrone's second All-Ireland win in three seasons.

The banquet is being organised by 'Club Tyrone', a supporter-backed body that provides financial support for Tyrone's representative sides.

Club Tyrone's 500 members generate up to £250,000 a year for GAA in the O'Neill County.
