Delegates at last night's Limerick County Board meeting voted by a overwhelming majority in favour of amending Rule 42 which could allow rugby and soccer to be played at Croke Park during the proposed redevelopment of Lansdowne Road.

Officials from both Cork and Mayo have opted to wait until Annual Congress before coming to a final decision.

Armagh and Westmeath delegates are scheduled to meet tonight to vote on the issue with contrasting results anticipated. 

Armagh are the only county north of the border still to vote and are expected to follow the ‘no’ line adopted by their counterparts.
