Kilkenny's former hurling manager, Ncky Brennan, will contest for election for president of the GAA next April.
He was nominated by fellow Conahy Shamrocks clubman Kieran Muldowney and seconded by Paddy Butler of St. Lachtan's.
He is the second person nominated after Christy Cooney, Chairman of the Munster Council.
