A vital goal from Emer McDonnell gave Tipperary a 1-10 to 2-04 victory over Dublin as the Premier County booked their place in the Division One final of the National Senior League.
Played at Tallaght's Thomas Davis club, Dublin deservedly led by 1-02 to 0-04 following a tight first half. However, Tipp took command after the break with McDonnell's goal in the 51st minute proving decisive to earn a clash against Wexford, 2-13 to 1-13 conquerors of defending champions Cork on Saturday, in the National League final.
Centre back Ciara Gaynor (a daughter of Len) and Paula Bulsin in midfield were outstanding for Tipperary.
