Tomorrow’s three remaining AIB Leinster Club Championship fixtures have been given the go-ahead following pitch inspections this morning.
The football quarter-final meeting of Rathvilly and Dunshaughlin at Dr. Cullen Park in Carlow town at 2.30pm, and the hurling semi-finals - St Mullin’s v Birr at O’Moore Park in Portlaoise at 2.30pm, and the Wexford Park encounter of Rathnure and Young Irelands also at 2.30pm – have all survived the incessant rain and will take place as scheduled.
Yesterday, the football quarter-final between Wicklow’s Rathnew and the Dublin champions, originally scheduled for Aughrim on Sunday, was postponed until November 24th following the postponement of the Dublin County Final. The Parnell Park encounter of St Vincent's and UCD, originally scheduled for today, will now take place tomorrow at 2pm.
