Derry midfielder, Anthony Tohill, is expected to be named as Irish captain for the International Rules Tour to Australia next October. It is unclear if Meath's Trevor Giles, who captained Ireland in the two tests at Croke Park last year, will be available for the trip to Australia.
A press conference has been called for Croke Park tomorrow when Tohill is expected to be formally unveiled to replace Giles as the new captain by team manager Brian McEniff.
