The Executive Committee of the Cork County Board will meet tonight to discuss the position of team manager for the senior hurling team. Newspaper speculation remains strong that Jimmy Barry Murphy is unlikely to stay on as manager, but strong efforts are being made to persuade him to continue for another year.
