Galway have finally got some good news ahead of their Connacht football semi-final against Sligo.
Galway are in the middle of an injury crisis at the moment but the management will be glad that wing back Seán de Paor has made a quicker than expected recovery from injury. He now looks certain to fill the left wing-back slot, which had been left vacant.
Manager John O'Mahony left two blanks in the team he selected. The management are still hopeful of John Divilly recovering his fitness on time to line out at corner back. If Divilly fails to prove his fitness Robert Fahy is likely to deputise. O'Mahony commented; "We have been unfortunate with injuries, but you can expect things like that when it comes to the championship. If we get over this crisis, things can only improve for the Connacht final."
