Goalkeeper Kevin Boyle, Enda Linnane, Nigel Shaughnessy and Finbar Gantley are all named on the Galway team to play Kerry. Timmy McCarthy lines out for Cork hurlers against Waterford while Michael Keane is selected at right corner-forward on the Limerick team to face Clare.
In football dual star Sean Óg O Hailpin is named on the Cork team to play Tyrone. Pacal Canavan is back at midfield on the Tyrone team while Tony Boyle, Noel Hegarty and Damien Diver are all chosen on the Donegal team to play Kerry.
