GAA: Dubs take valuable points in Tuam

A late goal helped Dublin to a one-point win over Galway in the sole Church and General National Football League game played today. The final score was 2-15 to 0-20 as Tommy Carr's side took some valuable points in Tuam.

Yesterday the All-Ireland Club championships were decided at Croke Park. In the hurling decider Athenry got revenge for last years semi final defeat against St Josephs Doora-Barefield to win by 16 points to 12. The football title went once again to Crossmaglen who defeated Dublin side Na Fianna by 1-14 to 12 points.
