Former Antrim and Ulster Hurler, Jimmy O'Reilly, from the O'Donovan
Rossa Club in Belfast, is the new Down Hurling manager replacing Frank Dawson. Ballygalget's Ger Coulter will be one of the selectors. In other news Cork hurling manager and GAA legend Jimmy Barry Murphy has been named Cork Person of the Year for guiding the County's hurlers to this year's All-Ireland title.
