The nominations for the Eircell GAA All-star awards have been announced. Cork dominates the list of hurling nominations, with the All-Ireland champion's nominations totaling 13. Cork are also well represented in the football nominations, equaling All-Ireland finalists Meath's total of
12 players.
Eleven of the football nominees were part of the Ireland's successful international panel in Australia. The All-Star team will be selected in December.
