Tom Morrissey and Darragh O'Donovan come into the Limerick starting team for their trip to Ennis, the side showing two changes from last Sunday's narrow loss to Cork at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
One of the changes was enforced with Cian Lynch suspended after receiving a straight red card for striking out at Tim O'Mahony during the second half.
David Reidy also drops to the bench, with three-time All-Star Tom Morrissey named to start at wing-forward. Darragh O'Donovan is named at midfield alongside Adam English.
Brian Lohan has stuck with the same side that overcame Waterford in a shootout in Ennis just under a fortnight ago.
The last three Munster SHC round robin games in this fixture have been won by the away team, though Clare's win last season came in a dead rubber fixture.

Con O'Callaghan has been named to start for Dublin in their Leinster SFC semi-final against Louth at Laois Hire O'Moore Park on Saturday night.
O'Callaghan played in the first half of the Dubs' unconvincing victory over Wicklow a fortnight ago. He was replaced by Cormac Costello at the interval.
There were some fears he had suffered a recurrence of the hamstring injury that sidelined him during the league, but the Cuala man gets the nod for the last-four showdown.
Colm Basquel also went off against Wicklow having been introduced off the bench. He is not in the panel this weekend.
Dublin make two changes to the starting XV that faced the Garden County, with Peadar Ó Cofaigh Byrne and Ciarán Kilkenny coming into the team in place of Greg McEneaney and Páidí White.
The Leinster champions, meanwhile, have named the same starting team that devoured Wexford in the quarter-final.
