A late Seán O'Leary point earned Cork a share of the spoils against Clare in the Dalata Hotel Group Munster U20 Football Championship, as it finished 1-10 apiece in Quilty.

O'Leary popped up in the 58th minute to level things, ending an 18-minute spell where the Rebels were held scoreless.

Evan Cahill goaled for the hosts on 20 minutes but Cork responded well with a run of the three points to send the sides in level at the break - 1-03 to 0-06.

The visitors, despite playing against the breeze, started the second period well and Danny Miskella was on hand to find the net. With the impressive Dara Sheedy and Darragh Clifford adding points, Cork pushed four clear.

Seán Fennell, with a two-point free, a one-point free, and a two-pointer from play, drew Clare level, before Ruben Fallon edged them in front.

That was before O'Leary's late intervention that levelled matters.

In Lemybrien, Kerry cruised past Waterford on a 2-17 to 0-10 scoreline.

Ronan Carroll and Gearóid White netted for the Kingdom, with the latter also contributing four two-pointers to their tally.
