Long-serving Roscommon defender David Murray has retired from inter-county duty.
The Pádraig Pearses clubman made his debut for the Connacht side in 2015 against Cavan and went on to represent his county 125 times at senior level.
During his time, Murray helped Roscommon to Connacht titles in 2017 and '19 as well as five league titles, four in Division 2 and one in Division 3.
At underage level, he captained Roscommon as they made the Under-21 All-Ireland final in 2014 where they lost out to a star-studded Dublin side. He also won a second Connacht U21 title as well a minor title.
He is the latest Rossie star to hang up the boots from last season with Ciaráin Murtagh, Donie Smith and Niall Daly also stepping away.
"On behalf of Roscommon GAA, we sincerely thank David for his exceptional commitment to football in Roscommon on the field as a player and off it as one of our greatest ambassadors," said Roscommon chairperson Tom Murray.
"While David's inter-county career has now come to an end, his legacy will remain and I know that he will continue to play an important role within his club and community.
"We wish David, his partner Sinead and their son Tom all the very best for the next chapter in their lives."
