History for Daingean Uí Chúis and what a dramatic way to win your first Munster title.
For large parts of the provincial final, they trailed St Finbarr's and it looked like the Cork outfit were heading for their sixth Munster title when they led by seven with 23 minutes to play.
Even in the first half, the Kerry men needed a Paul Geaney goal to keep within touching distance of the Barrs, as they went in trailing by five.
But they stuck at it at FBD Semple Stadium and when the chance came about, it was another Geaney - Conor, first cousin of Paul - who held his nerve to win it with a two-pointer from a free, moved forward 50 metres, with virtually the last kick of the game.
"There was a bit of a breeze there - a good bit of a breeze," he said on RTÉ's Morning Ireland
"I knew if I got it on target, throw it up into the wind to do the rest of the work. I just wanted to get a good strike on it, and luckily enough I did.
"I knew straight away that I'd kicked it well, so, yeah, I was kind of hoping it would go over, so, just happy with it."
Next up for Daingean Uí Chúis is a date with Leinster champions Ballyboden St Enda's in the All-Ireland semi-final early in the near year.
But, after following up a first Kerry crown in 77 years with a maiden provincial title, there's sure to be some celebrating done first.
"It's probably the best I've ever felt on the football pitch, definitely, it's the best day ever," match winner Geaney continued.
"We knew the county final was the biggest day for the club, in the club's history, and this just tops it all, easily.
"The way we did it was, that's another story...I can't really describe it. I was just so proud to be a Dingle man.
'This club, everybody's here, everybody left the town, nobody left at home, so it's just the best day ever."
