Old foes and neighbours Armagh and Tyrone will face each other in the preliminary round of the 2026 Ulster Senior Football Championship.

Following the draw for next year's provincial battles at Croke Park on Thursday evening, the counties were first plucked out, with the winners to face Fermanagh at the quarter-final stage.

On the same side of the draw are Donegal, who are seeking a hat-trick of Anglo Celt titles, and they will face an improving Down side at the last-eight stage.

Looking at the other side, it's Derry v Antrim and Monaghan v Cavan.

All-Ireland champions Kerry, seeking an 87th Munster crown, will face Clare in the semi-final. The pair met in the last two deciders.

Kerry manager Jack O'Connor will aim to win a fifth Munster title on the spin in what is his third spell at the helm

Cork, who took the Kingdom to extra-time in what was a thrilling last-four encounter last April, take on Jimmy Lee's Limerick in the quarter-final. The winner has a date with either Tipperary or Waterford in their quest to reach the Munster final next May.

In Connacht, Galway, bidding for a Nestor Cup five-timer, await the winners of Sligo/Leitrim in the semis.

As part of a rota within the province, Roscommon travel to New York and Mayo are in London, with the victors clashing in the other semi.

Will Pádraic Joyce be celebrating another Connacht triumph, a fifth success under his stewardship, come the early summer?

Louth's defence of their Leinster crown will begin with a game against Wexford, with the possibility of a collision with Dublin in the provincial semi-final.

After successive defeats in the 2023 and '24 deciders, the Wee County ended what was a 68-year wait for the Delaney Cup last May. Their defence begins at the quarter-final stage against the Slaneysiders.

Ger Brennan, who guided Louth to that famous Croke Park triumph, is now in charge of his native county and Dublin start off against either Carlow or Laois before that possible showdown with the defending champions.

The other side of the draw sees Tailteann Cup winners Kildare facing Offaly/Laois and Meath, beaten finalists and All-Ireland semi-finalists in 2025, playing either Westmeath or Longford in the remaining quarter-final.
