Westmeath's Kieran Martin has retired from inter-county football after 17 seasons.
The 35-year-old played, who also hurled for the Lake County, played in both the half-back and half-forward lines, but made some particularly memorable contributions in attack.
He scored 2-03 when Westmeath recorded their first championship win over neighbours Meath, coming from eight points down in a 2015 Leinster SFC quarter-final.
The Maryland man was nominated for an All-Star award that year.
In 2022, he came off the bench to score a superb match-winning goal against Cavan in the inaugural Tailteann Cup final.

Martin captained the county to the Allianz Football League Division 3 title in 2019, and also won Division 4 and O'Byrne Cup medals.
Westmeath GAA said Martin's "dedication, leadership and unwavering commitment have left a lasting impact on Westmeath football, and his influence will be remembered for generations.
"His work rate, physicality, and spirit embodied everything Westmeath supporters value in one of their own".
Martin, who scored 8-38 in championship football, made his last Westmeath appearance as a substitute in the Tailteann Cup group stage win over London in May.
