Seven-time All-Ireland winner Jonny Cooper has been appointed as Dublin's new Under-20 boss in what is his first managerial role.
The Na Fianna man, who won All-Stars in 2016 and '18 before retiring from inter-county duty after the 2022 season, played in the Dublin SFC final on Saturday as they lost out to Ballyboden.
His management team will include former Dublin team-mate Michael Darragh McAuley with Declan O’Sullivan, Ryan O’Flaherty, Tommy Drumm and Paul Stephens.
Cooper replaces the outgoing Ciarán Farrelly who suffered back-to-back Leinster semi-final defeats to Louth in his two seasons in charge.
"Our management and support team have already been active across the county, observing club games and preparing for the upcoming U21 club championship, which will provide another valuable window into emerging talent," Cooper said of his appointment.
"We’re also excited to collaborate with Ger Brennan and his coaches in supporting the senior group’s long-term ambitions. This connection will ensure that every player coming through feels like they have a clear pathway to progress upwards.
"Our commitment is to continuous improvement and to ensure these young players enjoy representing Dublin football with pride."
