Declan Bonner has been ratified as the new manager of the Fermanagh senior footballers.
The Donegal All-Ireland winner (60), who also coached the county to two Ulster titles, succeeds Kieran Donnelly.
Former Fermanagh U-20 boss Maurice McLaughlin was in also in the frame but he withdrew his name before the county committee met to rubberstamp Bonner's appointment tonight.
Former Sligo boss Daithí Hand and Peter Galvin have returned as joint managers of the Fermanagh senior hurlers, having been coaches under former boss Joe Baldwin in 2024.
The Ernesiders, who this year reached the Tailteann Cup semi-finals, will begin 2026 in Division 3 of the National Football League.
Bonner will be tasked with securing promotion and is well versed with the local scene in Fermanagh, after guiding Erne Gales to a county club title in 2024, their first in 43 years.
He brings a wealth of management experience to the position, having first managed his home club Na Rossa when he was 23.
Bonner had two spells at the helm in Tír Chonaill: 1997-200 and 2018-2022. The latter tenure saw him mastermind back-to-back provincial wins but fail to reach an All-Ireland SFC quarter-final.
With Fermanagh now filling their vacancies, all county management tickets are place ahead of the resumption of competitive action in January.
