Mayo star Conor Loftus kicked Crossmolina Deel Rovers to All-Ireland Club Intermediate Football Championship glory on a day of drama and emotion at Croke Park.
Derry representatives Ballinderry were a point up with five minutes of injury-time played when goalkeeper Ben McKinless conceded a penalty and was sent off.
Loftus, whose fiancée Róisin Cryan died tragically a fortnight ago, stepped up to send the kick to the net for a 1-12 to 0-13 victory.
Team captain Mikie Loftus dedicated the win to the late Róisin.
The match had originally been due to be played on 12 January but was postponed after her passing.
