The GAA has announced a ticket price rise for adults for the 2024 season, while the opening championship matches will no longer be covered under the season ticket offering.
Having frozen prices for the 2023 campaign, the GAA has increased adult ticket prices for 2024, with Division 1 and 2 of the Allianz Football League and Division 1 of the Allianz Hurling League now priced at €20 for adults (up from €18) and €15 (down from €16) for students and OAPs.
Divisions 3 and 4 in football will be €12 (up from €10), with student/OAP tickets at €10 (no change). Entry to Allianz Division 2 & 3 Hurling matches will cost €10, with student/OAP tickets €8. Division 3 hurling matches were €5 for adults this year.
Juveniles/Under-16s will be free of charge for Allianz Leagues fixtures, except for reserved seating fixtures and selected fixtures where capacity is a concern.
Tickets for the Allianz League Division 1 & 2 finals will be €30. Entry to Division 3 & 4 finals will be €25. New league packages are on sale, with full and flexible match packages also available.
Football season tickets remain at €150, while hurling season tickets are priced at €140.
A GAA season ticket covers all Allianz League fixtures for a chosen county, Allianz League finals and semi-finals, AIB All-Ireland Club finals, guaranteed access to a county's championship fixtures and access to an All-Ireland final ticket should the county reach the final and qualification criteria is met. Club Plus Season Tickets, which includes club fixtures within a chosen county, will remain at €250.
However, the GAA disclosed that the opening championship match will no longer be included as part of the season ticket offering.
It added that it will release details of special championship packages in the new year.
As before, tickets will not be sold at venues in 2024 and must be purchased in advance either on the GAA website or in selected SuperValu and Centra stores.

7 matches for €60. A saving of €24
