Roscommon, Mayo and Galway on one side of Connacht draw

New Mayo manager Kevin McStay will face the county he previously managed - Roscommon - in the quarter-final of the 2023 Connacht SFC, with Galway awaiting in the semi-final.

That means that one from New York, London, Leitrim and Sligo will be guaranteed a place in the Connacht final and with it the added prize of a place in the group stage of the All-Ireland championship.

In Leinster, the preliminary draw sees Longford v Offaly, Wicklow v Carlow and Wexford v Laois.

Colm O'Rourke, the new man at the helm in Meath, can look forward to a date against Longford/Offaly in the quarter-finals. On the same side of the draw are Westmeath and Louth.

Dublin, who will be going for a 13th consecutive title next summer, take on Wexford or Laois in the quarter-finals. The winner of the Wicklow/Carlow clash face Kildare in the last eight.

All-Ireland champions Kerry will be up against Tipperary or Waterford in the Munster semi-final. The other semi sees last year's finalists Limerick take on either Cork or Clare.

In Ulster, Armagh have been paired with Antrim in the preliminary round, with the winner taking on Cavan in the quarters. Down/Donegal are also on this side of the draw.

Holders Derry open their defence against Fermanagh in the quarter-final, with the prize of facing either Down or Donegal in the last four.
