Liam Kearns has been confirmed as the new manager of the Offaly senior footballers.
Kearns' fellow Kerryman Tomás Ó Sé - who had been part of previous manager John Maughan's backroom team - had been strongly linked with the post but he ruled himself out a few weeks ago.
Instaead the Faithful County have turned to Kearns. He has previously managed Limerick, Laois and Tipperary, who he led to the All-Ireland semi-final in 2016.
Last month Maughan stepped down from the role after four years at the helm.
The veteran boss oversaw a step forward for the Faithful County although this season did end in disappointment.
He led Offaly to promotion to Division 2 in 2021 before being relegated back down to Division 3 this year.
They reached the Tailteann Cup semi-finals but were beaten comfortably by Westmeath at Croke Park.
