Andy McEntee has been ratified as the new Antrim football manager.
The former Meath manager's appointment was approved at a county board meeting and ratified by the clubs this evening
The former Ballyboden St Enda's manager will take over from Enda McGinley - the Tyrone All-Ireland winner stepping down following the Saffrons' Tailteann Cup exit at the hands of Leitrim.
Despite that disappointing end to their season Antrim have been on an upward trajectory in recent years after gaining promotion from Division 4 under McGinley.
Antrim County Board are delighted to announce that Andy McEntee has been ratified as the new Antrim Senior Football Manager on a 3-year term.

Seeking promotion to Division 2 will be McEntee's first aim, while also making the team more competitive in Ulster - they lost to Cavan by 13 points in their only provincial outing in April.
McEntee is making an immediate return to inter-county management after calling time on his five-year stint in charge of his native Meath last month..
He reached back-to-back Leinster finals in 2018 and 2019 but immediate relegation from Division 1 of the Allianz League followed the next year and McEntee has spoken recently about the abuse he received on social media as progress stalled for the Royals.
Meanwhile, Mayo have set a date of 29 July for expressions of interest in their managerial vacancy following the resignation of James Horan.
The County Board issued an update this afternoon calling on potential candidates to come forward in the next two and-a-half weeks.
