Kildare’s Leinster SFC hopes have been dealt a big blow with forward Tomas O’Connor's decision to leave the panel.
Jason Ryan’s Lilywhites endured a disappointing league campaign which saw them relegated to Division 3 and Clane clubman O’Connor’s decision to quit piles further misery on Ryan, who only a few weeks ago saw goalkeeper Shane Connolly opt to quit the panel.
Kildare will face the winners of Laois/Carlow in the Leinster quarter-final on 6 June.
