All-Ireland winner Alan O'Connor is to rejoin the Cork senior football panel after coming out of inter-county retirement.

The St Colum's midfielder, who won the All-Ireland with the Rebels in 2010, announced his retirement after the 2013 championship.

However, the 29-year-old is expected to link up with manager Brian Cuthbert's panel after Cork's Allianz League final against Dublin on Sunday at Croke Park.

O'Connor, who made his senior debut for Cork in 2008, also won Allianz League medals in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and Munster senior medals in 2008, 2009 and 2012.
