Roscommon manager John Evans heaped praise on his side as they kept the scoreboard working overtime in their 0-24 to 2-12 win over Kildare in the Allianz FL Division 2.
The victory for the Connacht side in Newbridge gets their promotion bid back on track following last week's defeat to Laois.
"Any day you kick 24 points you have to be delighted." was Evans' initial reaction when he spoke afterwards to RTÉ Sport.
The seeds of victory were laid down in a strong second-half display and Evans was more than happy with the application shown by by his side.
"It was the manner of our comeback and the way we stayed in the game having been six and seven points down at different stages that really pleased me," he added
"They are a lovely bunch of guys and I'm delighted they were able to express themselves on a tight St Conleth's Park. They showed accuracy, flair and pace."

Cathal Cregg top-scored for the Rossies. "A player that is maturing well," was Evans' summation of his contribution.
He also had praise for others, adding: "Cathal Shine was absolutely superb at midfield. Our half-back line, while they may have given away height, but for tenacity, Seanie McDermott, Neil Collins and Davy Murray were outstanding."
Roscommon have three games left in this campaign and their manager believes it will be a fight to the finish to see who claims the promotion spots.
"This is a dog eat dog league," he said.
"We have three hard games left to play. It's not going to be easy.
"We have Meath next at home and what a game that should be. I'm sure there'll be a big crowd at that Hyde."
