All-Star Kieran Donaghy will captain Kerry against Dublin in his first Allianz Football League appearance of the season in Killarney on Sunday.

Donaghy returns following club duty with Austin Stacks, who reached the All-Ireland semi-final

Anthony Maher also makes his first start of the season asTommy Walsh and Barry John Keane make way.

Robbie Hennelly comes back in the place of David Clarke, in defence Tom Cunniffe replaces Michael Hall for his first competitive start since last year’s All-Ireland semi-final replay, while Patrick Durcan comes in for Colm Boyle.

Seamus O'Shea comes in to midfield in place of the injured Mickey Conroy and Cillian O'Connor makes his first competitive start of the year in the place of Alan Freeman.

Former All-Star goalkeeper Gary Connaughton will play his first game for Westmeath since 2013 against Kildare on Sunday.

The 35-year-old, who is also a selector to manager Tom Cribbin, came out of retirement earlier this year due to a goalkeeping crisis in the Lake County.

Darren Quinn has  a groin strain and Stephen Gallagher is recovering from a cruciate ligament injury.
