Fermanagh and Waterford claimed home wins, in Divisions 3 and 4 respectively, in the Allianz Football League tonight.

At Brewster Park, Enniskillen, Fermanagh never looked troubled in their 0-16 to 0-07 win over Louth.

Sean Quigley top-scored and equalled the visitors tally with an impressive seven points, as Colin Kelly's first league outing as Louth boss got off to a disappointing start.

In front of 1,250 spectators, Fermanagh led by 0-9 to 0-5 at half-time, with Declan Byrne scoring three of Louth's points.

Byrne cut the gap to three points on the restart, but this was as close as Louth got in the second half, with Fermanagh scoring six unanswered points in the closing 15 minutes, on the way to a nine-point win.

In front of 420 spectators in Fraher Field, Waterford stretched their unbeaten run in 2015 to five games, with a 0-14 to 0-10 win over Wicklow, after claiming a first McGrath Cup since 1981 at the same venue last weekend.

Seven different players were on target for Tom McGlinchey's side over the 70 minutes, in a game which Waterford trailed 0-02 to 0-01 after nine minutes, but took control to move 0-09 to 0-07 at half-time.

Shane Aherne, Patrick Hurney and Michael Curry were among those who spurred on a home-side comeback with John McGrath keeping the visitors in touch.

Waterford kicked on after the restart, as unanswered points from Tadhg Ó hUallachain, Michael O'Halloran, Mark Ferncombe and Shane Aherne opened up a 0-13 to 0-07 lead after 54 minutes.

Wicklow outscored Waterford by 0-03 to 0-01 late on, with Conor McGraynor among those on target, but it was too late for the Garden County.
