The death has taken place of Seamus Morris, who was goalkeeper on the last Cavan team to win the All-Ireland senior football championship in 1952. 

The Arva native, who was aged 91, also won five Ulster championship medals and a national league medal.

He was also a member of the Cavan minor management team which won the Ulster Championship in 1974.
