Wicklow have named Johnny Magee as manager of their senior football team, while Casey O’Brien will continue as hurling boss.
Magee takes over from the outgoing Harry Murphy, although he is well acquainted with the set-up in the Garden County having been part of the management team as a selector last year.
Magee represented Dublin at inter-county level for 10 years, while he won an All-Ireland club title with Kilmacud Crokes in 2009.
O’Brien, who has managed the hurlers since 2009, continues in his role following their league success last year when winning promotion to Division 2A.
Their positions are subject to ratification at the next County Board meeting.
A big welcome to our new Senior Football manager @JohnnyMagee06
