Shane Ward is the new Leitrim football manager.
His appointment was approved at a county board meeting last night.
Donegal native Ward led the county's Under-21 team to the Connacht final this year, and he will retain that role as part of the new arrangement.
Ward replaces Sean Hagan, who stepped down last month after one year in charge.
