Former Derry football captain Kevin McCloy is being treated in hospital after collapsing during a club game last night.
McCloy was playing for Lavey in their county championship match against Magherafelt when he collapsed, ten minutes into the game.
Paramedics treated him at the sports ground in Owenbeg before the 35-year-old was brought to the intensive care unit at Altnagelvin Hospital in Derry.
On their Twitter account, representatives from Lavey GAC have tweeted that McCloy is showing some signs of improvement.
