Both Meath and Kildare are hoping to build on convincing quarter-final wins when they meet in the Leinster SFC semi-final on Sunday.
The Lilywhites saw off Louth, winning by 15 points in Croke Park, while Meath visited Carlow and came away with a massive 7-13 to 0-06 victory.
The sides go head to head for the fourth time in seven years, with two wins apiece to their names, in HQ on Sunday, throw-in 2pm.
Kildare defender Mick Foley told RTÉ Sport: “The mood is very good at the moment. Obviously, when you win your first championship game it takes a bit of pressure off. You’re not quite sure how you’re going to react to the situation; it’s nice to get the first one out of the way.
“We’re really looking forward to the semi-final. It’s obviously going to be a massive test against Meath but everyone’s fit and we’re looking forward to the challenge ahead.”
The Royals are bidding to reach their third Leinster decider in a row, with Dublin or Wexford waiting in the final.
Meath’s Kevin Reilly said: “We’re coming in on the back of a great win against Carlow. We’re looking forward to the challenge on Sunday, we’re going to prepare the best we can and we hope that the squad will put in a big performance.
“If we get our own performance in order, if we take our chances, if we play really good football at a high intensity, we’ve every chance.”
Kildare will be without Peter Kelly, while Mickey Newman misses out for Meath.
